Derek,
I think what really draws me to your poster is how recent the issue is especially after the election. I think the facts you have in there are really interesting such as how the electoral college may stop people from wanting to vote. Do you think abolishing it is the best solution or do you think a new system would bring more problems?

Hi Derek,
what drew me to your poster was the topic especially which the past few elections we’ve experience. I fin it interesting that candidates from the republican party usually win without the popular vote. Do you think the electoral college should be abolished ?

Hi Derek, you mention that the party that seemed to have won without the popular vote was the more conservative party. To you, what is the most compelling argument for or against abolishing the electoral college?

Hi Derek, what stood out to me from your poster was the topic that you decided to research and how important it is to our society to elect our officials. I learned that from your findings a president can win without the will of the people, with just a majority of votes in a state without considering the other opinion. There seems to be no representation for that in the electoral college. What challenges did you find while you research your topic and how did it impact your methodology?

Hey Derek,
In an age where political polarization has set everyone on edge and the Electoral College is often pointed as a deal breaker for many, your poster is irresistible to take a look into. That being said, I admire how introspective your project is: your research question hones in closely to establishing how the Electoral College is contradictory in nature, looking more into election results via the popular and electoral vote. With that, I leave you with one question: Is the Electoral College defunct if candidates clearly play by its standards established in our system of government? Fantastic poster!
