Hi Kyle, I clicked our your poster because I remember reading about your sports betting topic proposal back at the beginning of the semester and was quite interested to see what you had discovered. I was not aware of just how lucrative the sports betting revenues in some states are, especially with New Jersey and Pennsylvania each doubling the tax revenue of Nevada's sports betting industry. Do you think that even with the potential for the state to partially enabling gambling addictions through legalizing sports betting, that the potential revenue generated can be net beneficial to society through extra funding for healthcare and education?

Hi Kyle,
I was drawn to your project because I strongly believe sports betting should be legal and it is something I'm passionate about and wish I could do. I learned that states can make a lot of money from legalizing sports betting. Why do you think it is taking so long for it to be legalized?

Hey Kyle, I noticed your poster because I know that sports betting has gotten really big recently as it is so easy to bet online on all sorts of sports, not just the ones people traditionally think of. From your poster, I learned about the positive economics effects that a state can experience after legalizing betting. A question I have is what are some of the negative effects of betting on a population?

Hi Kyle, I was drawn to your poster because the last election I voted in had a ballot question about allowing sports betting, but I felt very underprepared to make an educated decision on the issue. I learned from your poster that there are both positive and negative impacts of legalized sports betting, but that it can greatly benefit the economy by raising additional funds for other government programs. I know that the particular ballot issue I saw sought to offset education funding through allowing sports betting. Do you think that sports betting preys on impoverished people or that it can contribute to gambling addictions, when taking into consideration possible negative impacts?

Hi Kyle! I was interested in your project because I have participated in sports betting myself, and I am interested in its effects. I learned that sports betting can generated large amounts of revenue for states' economies. I previously had thought the effects were not so big. If sports betting can be so positive for economies, why do you think so many states are yet to legalize it?
