It's very cool that you decided to look at racial injustice inside the NFL, as that has been a hot topic in the last couple years, especially with Kaepernick's kneeling protest and the effects of that throughout the NFL. I didn't even know there was something called the Rooney rule, so i'm glad I learned something new! However, after reading your poster, it sounds like this may be a bandaid to cover up the real issue of deep-rooted racism, rather than actually addressing racism, because as you mentioned, minority hires still can be removed from their positions through other means, reverting back to a racially homogenous organization.

Hi Connor, I was drawn to your poster because I am an NFL fan. From your project I learned that the Rooney Rule only applies to head coaches. I was wondering whether you think it should be applied to assistant coaches and front offices.

Hey Connor, I was drawn to your poster as I was intrigued to learn what exactly the Rooney Rule is. I learned that it is a rule in the NFL which was put in place in 2002 which requires that head coach vacancies cannot be filled until a minority candidate has been interviewed. While there will always be much that can be done to give minority people more fair work opportunities, I think that this is a pretty good start and agree that it is something other companies an organizations should try.

Hey Conner, I was drawn to your project because I follow the National Football League closely and am vaguely familiar with the Rooney rule. I did not know however that despite the increase in hires there was still a problem with minority coaches being fired. How do you think the NFL could tackle this problem next?

I was drawn to this project because I wanted to know what the Rooney rule is! I didn't know that there was such a disparity in head NFL coaches – that's pretty wild, I'm not sure that it's good at all. Do you think there is a better alternative to reduce the inequalities in the NFL?
