I was interested in this project because I know that sanctuary cities have become an increasing prominent issue in the United States and I wanted to see what the research showed in terms of its legality. I learned that the verdict currently stands as saying that these sanctuary cities are allowed to exist, but the federal government has the power to withhold funding if they do so. Do you see any case challenging the legality of sanctuary cities coming before the Supreme Court in the near future?
