This was a very interesting experience to read about! I am also interested in potentially interning at a law firm next year for my project and it was fascinating to learn more about what responsibilities you had in contract law. If you interned in the spring, did your internship change a lot due to COVID19? How was it balancing your responsibilities as a student and as an intern at the office in Alexandria?

This project stood out to me because my plan is to go into law in the future but I am not sure what kind of law. I am interested in criminal, civil, contract, etc. From viewing your project, I learned that excel can be very important for legal positions and that many contracts have to be drafted. My question for you is how far was the commute from campus to Alexandria, VA?

This seems like it was a really great experience for someone interested in justice and legal thought. As someone interested in contract law, the opportunity to be involved in such a hands on manner must have been really rewarding. I had also never heard of this company before and was pleased to hear about all the positive work they are involved in. I would be interested to know if this is an internship you would recommend to someone interested in going to law school?

Thank you for sharing your experience! Your project stood out to me because is it similar to the type of internship I have been on the search for. I found it interesting that you were able to handle contracts on a day to day basis, giving you an important job in the operation. I learned that to be successful, you may need a solid understanding of using excel. My question for you is do you see a future in contract law?
